Southern York EMS currently has part-time openings for EMT’s. Southern York County EMS is seeking experienced EMT’s to work in conjunction with volunteer EMS providers to provide 24/7 EMS care to the communities we serve. We are seeking providers who not only have a strong clinical background but also are able to deliver compassionate patient care while interacting professionally with colleagues (career and volunteer), members of the community and other health care providers. Our crews average approximately 1,500 calls per year. EMT’s should be able to work 24-32 hours every 2 weeks. Shift lengths of 12, 16, and 24 hours are available.
- Pennsylvania EMT Certification
- CPR Certifications
- BTLS preferred
- Hazmat awareness
- Two to three years BLS experience and/or experience functioning in a rural EMS environment is preferred.
