October 25 Event at Airville Fire Station Focuses on Community Awareness and Family Activities
Airville, PA – October 6, 2015 – Southern York County Emergency Medical Services today announced a dedication and community kick-off celebration to unveil their newly unified organization dedicated to providing premium service. A brief dedication at 1:00 pm kicks off the festivities with 3 hours of demonstrations, family activities, and educational opportunities for attendees of all ages.
The Community Kick-Off, which runs from 1:00 – 4:00 pm, includes fire-fighting and car extrication demonstrations, fire prevention displays, a smoke house, hands-only CPR instruction, blood pressure screening, Stat Medevac’s helicopter (weather and calls permitting), fun children’s activities, and free refreshments.
“We are excited to dedicate our newly unified emergency medical services unit,” said Laura Taylor, EMS Chief. “With our combined resources, we will continue to provide the professional and efficient emergency series our communities have come to expect.”
