We are hiring a full time EMT! Southern York EMS is a rural EMS agency that prides itself on providing outstanding clinical excellence. Located in southern York County we have stations within 40 minuets of Bel Air, Lancaster and York. The unique geographical composition of our coverage area includes residential, industrial, and recreational but no extended care facilities. Combining our unique coverage area with patient contact times up to and frequently exceeding 60 minutes this creates a challenging environment for EMS providers looking to put their knowledge and skills to the test. Southern York does not routinely do interfacility transports allowing providers to remain available and focused on responding to emergency calls. Candidates must have the following:
1 year of experience in a 911 system
PA EMT or eligible for reciprocity
CPR, ICS 100,200,700,800, Hazmat Awareness
Valid Pa drivers license and EMSVO
